In Fraxinus, Amarillo and HBC 431 has produced pure orange juice. It's smooth up front with a broad orange and mandarin juice flavor. The finish holds a little bitterness wi'hich leads to a very refreshing experience.

Can at home. Murky pale yellow color, full sized white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is fruity citrussy hoppy. Flavor is lightly malts, pleasantly fruity, light citrus and sweetish fruit hoppy, but with a firm even a bit fizzy bitter finish. A bit fizzy carbonation, medium body. Alright.

Cloudy yellow blond beer, big creamy solid irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple, bit floral, very pleasant. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: tropical fruits, oranges and tangerines, lots of citrus, some grapefruit, lychees, very nice bitterness, slightly malty. Aftertaste: very fruity, lots of citrus, bitter grapefruit, little grassy, nice one, love it!

Paired with fried polenta and salsa roja!

Can. Bought this for an HBC431 fix. It's kinda disappeared with the rise and rise of HBC438. Or Sabro these days. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly thin malts, a light sweetness. HBC431 and Amarillo bring a nice spicy edged citrus, orange, tangerine, touch of yellow grapefruit. Light pine. HBC431 tropical fruits underneath. Light finish brings a mild citric peel bitterness. Nice beer. A bit thin but delivered the hop kick I was looking for.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 6th April 2018. Hazy gold with shallow white foam and full lacing. Citrus and yeasty aroma. Fine citrus and nutty malt in-mouth with a touch of smoke. Bitter citrus, yet fruity, finish. Zingy mouthfeel and plenty of body. Superb.

(Keg at Bier-Bier, 20180405) The beer poured golden and rather cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and lightly pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grapefruit, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A bit thin but otherwise ok pale ale.
