Biere de raisin - This beer is the marriage between dry saison and the Chasselas grapes found in the heart of Swiss Romande. For this hybrid beer, we used grapes from our friends, the 4th generation winemakers of Domaine de Boulaz in Bonvillars on the Southwestern shore of the Lake Neuchatel. This beer is our invitation to gather with friends and family to share a good bottle. Naturally bottle conditioned, unfiltered, and unpasteurized.

Bottle, from Beer Boutique, Brooklyn. I found one bottle in the sale section and decided to try my luck. It poured lightly cloudy golden with a very small, frothy, off-white head that quickly disappeared, leaving a ring behind. It had a faintly acidic grape aroma, high carbonation, a tart taste with earthy flavors and grapeseed, a thin body, and a long tart finish. It was a very interesting brew.

Draught shared by Harrisoni and Finn at BottleShop: Bermondsey. Hazy pale golden body, naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of berry skins. Mid-tart berry-fruity flavours, woody. Drying ending with mouth filling tartness. Decent cleanser. (Bermondsey, London 29.09.2018).
