500ml bottle from Sainsbury's Berryden, Aberdeen. It pours clear rich gold with a hint of fizz on the cao. The aroma is apple skin and core, play dough, apple pie, dusty, some sweet manure and damp wood. The taste is fairly sweet and thick initially, then dries out, oily, bitter - sweet apple, apple skin, juicy, hint of white grape and melon, touch of dry oak, tannin, dull alcohol, honey and leathery notes with a dry and tannic finish. Medium body, essentially flat and oily mouth feel. Not sure about the aroma, but taste isn't bad. Alright.
