Can split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 27/06/19. Claret red with a moderate crimson covering. Nose is tangy berry fruits, hay bale, grains. Taste comprises berry fruits, apple and blackcurrant squash, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for what it is.

Can shared at the Columbus Tasting 27/06/2019. Many thanks to Kenny! A mostly clear, deep purple plum coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is semi sweet, blackcurrant cordial, mixed berries, berry fruitela sweets. Flavour is composed of tart and dry, tart red berries, red grape scholer. Palate is dry and crisp, pithy, highish carboantion. Nice.

Can shared in London - thanks to Old Ken. Pours clear purple with a light, pink cream head. Tasty, with light berry skin action, mellow acidity. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, more tart berries. Fun stuff.

Level 6 bottleshare. Can. Semi opaque purple beer, short lived bubbly magenta head. Light palate, semi dry, nice light crispness. Nice light tart blackcurrant and lesser apple. Touch of cherry where the two intersect. Thin finish. Refreshing on a hot day. Would like to see this hybrid style explored further.

Keg @ Friends Of Ham, Leeds. Purple-pink with a frothy head. Has a mix of hops and cider, both evident enough in taste, although very bland tasting.

440ml can @ Hop & Scotch, Kings Heath, Birmingham before watching Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at Hare & Hounds. Pours dark hazed purple, sparse off-white topping. Blackcurrant on the nose. Taste presents a good blackcurrant sour character bolstered by firm astringent cider tannins. Quite an interesting one this, makes a pleasant change from one-dimensional fruit sours. Would be interested to taste other fruit editions in this style.

Can. Bier Huis, Ossett. Deep purple. Barely a head. Nose has blackcurrant juice. Stewed apple. Not too much else. Taste is tart and juicy. Quite drying. Light and juicy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Tart and juicy on the finish. Not much going on aroma wise, but this is super drinkable.
