Bottle from Oddbins. It pours hazy amber with a thick white head. The aroma is herbal, grassy, mint, bread, green banana, bit sweaty, pine and a bit of gooseberry. The taste is dry, bitter, quite piney, gooseberry, white grape, citrus peel, sherbet, soapy, toilet cleaner, bread, tannin, rice pudding and some banana as it warms up with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate - high, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a bit of an unusual combination of flavours, but I kind of like it.

Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Gold colour. Would have poured clear, but I gave it a swirl and it ended up thick as a bag. Dense, lasting, off white head. Nose has chewy sweet hoppage. Like a bucket of orange Opal Fruits. A bit wheaty. A bit of pine. It’s got that toilet cleaner thing going on. Taste is sweet and fruity, with some rising bitterness. Full mouthfeel. Soft and foamy. Full bitter finish. Decent. A bit weird.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with a fluffy off-white head with good retention. Aroma is spicy and slightly vinous, with typical banana, citrus, cloves, wheat, yeast. Taste is citrusy, spicy, wheat, yeast, nelson sauvin stands out. Mouthfeel is very smooth, medium carbonation and body. Different but quite good.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a hazy amber, frothy overly enthusiastic white head. Aroma of exotic, lime fruit, spice. It’s fairly spice-forward in the taste, with pillowy smooth yeast, and prominent Sauvin exotic fruit notes. Not entirely convinced everything gels but it’s a smooth, fruity take on the style.

Bottle picked up from BottleDog KingsX Before it shut. A light hazed deep orange amber coloured pour with a lasting loose white head, Aroma is nice tangy citrus, pineapple, floral, midget gems, white grape, juicy nelson sauvin. Flavour is composed of soft wheaty grains, bread, hint of smoke, tangy pineapple, orange rind , spicy citrus, tcp. Palate is soft, rounded, moderate carbonation. Bit unusual but i like it.

Light haze on this amber beer, good white head. Palate is smooth and soft with fine minerally carbonation. Smooth wheaty malt, creamy and a little dry. Light spice and candy fruit sweetness. Finishes dry and a little bitter. Different.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours lightly hazy gold with a lasting, creamy white head. The aroma has plenty of wheat, some yeast, fruits, berries, citrus, pineapple. Light to medium sweet flavor with more pineapple, yeasty wheat bread, melon. Light bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, lots of tropical fruits, hay, orange merengue, pinapple, melon. Very tasty stuff though pretty far from a typical hefe.
