God looking bottle from Vinmonopolet. Clear golden body with a nice, small but dense head. Aroma has distinct mature apple, apple core and hint of fruit in general. Flavor is much like aroma, lots of mature apple and apple core, quite sweet, moderate acidity. Soft and smooth, quite close to pure apple juice or squeezed apple, not much sigh of alcohol and I miss some complexity. Sure a nice apple flavor and fine body, smooth, sweet apple, but compared with a few french one I had after this I had to adjust the score a bit down for the lack of depth and complexity in addition to the nice apple flavor.

330ml stylish bottle bought at Vinmonopolet in Honningsvåg. Noisy white head quickly disappearing over a warm golden body. Scattered lacing. Quite inviting smell of apples and apple skins. Sappy taste of apples and hints of pears. A faint, but distinctive pleasant support of liquorice-caramel on the nose and to the flavour profile. Rounded ending, mid-sweet. Pretty good. (Hotel room, Honningsvåg 01.10.2020).

klar gulbrun farge med hvitt skum. lukter av epler. syrlig av epler i smak. god syrlig avslutning.

Keg @ Cafe Sara, Oslo. Pours clear yellow, no real head. Aroma is strong pure apple fruit. Taste continues with a luscious fruity character, highly juicy with some soft fleshy moments. Yet another great cider from the Hardanger region. Exceptional.

Fra fat på årets siste Mi2, Cardinal des-16: klar, lys strågul med kort skum. Deilig, rund og saftig aroma og smak av spise-epler fra Hardanger, akkurat passe søt. Hint av eik/vanilje? En meget lettdrikkelig og elegant cider.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 19.12.16. Clear, pale yellow. Small, white head. Fine aroma and taste of apples from old Norwegian apple trees. Dry. Dangerously quaffable.

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, harvest 2018, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived head. Strong and distinct aroma of dessert apples. Light bodied. The flavour is medium dry, notes of apples and sulphites. No match for the Edel 12%, but okay. Original rating: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, small white head that soon disappears. Moderate carbonation. \"Perfumed\" aroma of sweet eating apples, a hint of oak. The flavour is better, nice and fresh flavour of apples, medium sweet.

Nice fizzy-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is fresh fruity, concentrated apple juice, sorrel, apple peel, caramel, minerals, apple cores, grass, flowers. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, sour apples, minerals, apple peel, grass, apple cores, flowers, hints of citrus. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

Klar gulbrun med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter pærer og noe eple. Lett søtlighet, eplene kommer fram i smak. Noe tørr avslutning.
