Old notes from Oct 2014 - A bottle brought from the brewery, it pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Smells of peach & apricot. Also tastes of peach & apricot with the wheat coming through. Overall, a very nice pint from a brewery that I consider to be better than the average.

On tap at Chesham Brewery shop, Chesham, Bucks. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Fruity, yeasty, wheaty aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, yeasty, wheaty, spice, lemon. Quite drinkable.

Keg @ The Rake. Quite spicy is this, more so than i was expecting from what I remember (and I don’t remember much from that day), with cardamom & cloves coming through more than the yeast and wit flavours. It’s pleasant enough but the spices are a little off-putting for me.

Keg at the Rake. It pours cloudy golden-orange with a small white head. The nose is candy, wheat, bubblegum, orange, tangerine, clove and Irn Bru. The taste is bitter, grainy, hay, spice, wheat, orange peel, lemon and grapefruit with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. All comes together rather well. Solid wheat beer.

Gravity dispense at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough BF - 12/10/12. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nose comprises peach, apricot, soft fruit tones, candy sugars. Tastes a little peachy, sugars, fruit, a little smoke. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a smooth fruity finish. I enjoyed this a slightly off kilter take on the style but it worked for me!

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 7 Aug 2010) Hazy yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, wheaty nose with notes of citrus, grass and clove. Fruity, wheaty taste with citrus, grass and hints of clove. Slightly sourish wheat character. Light body, with just a touch of sweetness. Light grassy bitterness. Decent.

Half pint, pulled from cask at CASK pub and Kitchen. Unclear, light golden body. Naked surface, but good amount of lacework. Smell of grapefruits on a dry, wheat-like backbone. Grapefruit and lemon in flavour, like drinking grapefruit meat or grapefruit juice. Alright for refreshments (London, 16.07.2010).

Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer Festival 16-07-10 This was quite a lively pourer, cloudy as expected with large billowing white head that took a little while to settle. Really good lemony nose and the flavours also oozed lemon, with some tangy grapefruit as well. Fresh, clean & refreshing, enjoyable stuff. A8 A3 T7 P3 Ov15 3.6

16th July 2010. On tap at the Rake. Cloudy gold beer. No real head. Semi crisp and semi dry palate. Remarkable fresh grapefruit - feels like I have been served a grapefruit spritzer! Some grapefruit bitterness creeping in as the beer finishes slightly chalky dry. No other flavours here except fresh grapefruit! Very drinkable if somewhat off the wall Weisse.
