Can thanks to Cloin. It pours slightly hazy reddish - amber with a small frothy beige cap. The aroma is oily, sticky, wood, resin, some jamminess, spongecake, earth and nut. The taste is dry, nice hit of bitterness which lingers, resinous, wood, pine needles, earth, light tannin, nip of spice, brown bread, touch of sweetness and pithy citrus with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. Enjoyable. Good contemporary take on the style.

2/2/2021. Can from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, pine, biscuit, dried fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Nice mellow bitter finish. Good example for its style and abv.

330 ml can, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 3.8%. Copper colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of brown or amber malts, also notes of earthy hops, hints of dark berries. Dry flavour, amber malts and moderate earthy hops again, notes of brown bread, only a hint of fruitiness.

Can at home, picked up from Buxton Taproom on my September visit, 23/12/20. Reddish amber with a decent beige head. Nose is dried fruits, figs, caramel, biscuit malt, light spice. Taste comprises fruit loaf, pinch of spice, brown bread, raisins, biscuit malt, brown sugar coating, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced mellow hop bitterness. Solid easy drinker and a good exponent of the style.

Thin beige head left a spotty cover on a reddish brown still body. Big spicy aroma with red berry & malt. Medium bodied, smooth & sharp, clean & dry on the back. Berries, malt, spices & pine tastes with a long bitter finish. Excellent!

Brown with a frothy to creamy white head that lingers. Aroma a mix of citrus, toasted grains, caramel. Nice! Taste is bittersweet trending moderate bitter at the finish with an overall good balance. Body to the light side of medium. Impressive flavor and heft given the low ABV. A good one.
