Dark & Light
This black IPA is crafted to play with your senses! It pours very dark with a cream-like head. Complex flavours from a combination of bitter chocolate and sweet roasted malt cut with citrus and sharp pineapple. A fantasy of ‘Hop Americana’ Chinook, Cascade and Mount Hood.
Food match with chargrilled steaks, meat and poultry with spicy rubs. Perhaps try with blackened salmon or black cod.

Handpcask from the Bunny Hop Ale House, Langley Mill. Darkest brown/black and opaque with a thin khaki head. Scent of molasses and malt notes with faint suggestions of pine. Taste is balanced, starts sweet but turns to an intense bitter which lingers ominously in the finish. Light body for the ABV, soft to medium carbonation. More a straight out Porter than a BIPA Although it's a good beer by whichever name you choose.

Cask at Craft 100 April 2014 - London. Pours rich brown with a bubbly tan head. The nose has toasty pine, minerals, orange. Medium sweet flavor with balanced toasty bread, light ashy roast, minerals, bitter earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with a drying mineral edge, some bittersweet cocoa, accents of pine and citrus. Good stuff.

Cask gravity at Craft 100, thanks to Robbie. It pours darkest brown with a thick, creamy beige head. The nose is earthy, toast, roasted malt, citrus and candied peel. The taste is bitter, roasty, earth, toast, grapefruit rind, liquorice, charred notes and dirt with a bitter, roasty finish. Medium body and prickly, fine carbonation. Good deal of raw bitterness. Solid cda.
