Cette alliance entre Boubon et Brett est plutôt intelligente. Le bourbon vient en effet quelque peu dompter le côté agressif du Brett sans lui faire perdre son côté sauvage et ses arômes caractéristiques que je rapproche toujours pour ma part à des flaveurs fermières. Le Bourbon fournit également une puissance qui dans notre cas aurait même pu être un peu plus poussée. Il est cependant regrettable que L'ensemble manque de complexité, le duo bourbon/Brett n'étant accompagné que.de caramel et d'orange et surtout sans réelle variation sur la dégustation. En verre à nous sommes sur un blond orangé limpide honnête mais quasiment sans mousse. Au nez, c’est le Brett qui est en avant conférant cette composante fermière avec également des arômes d’orange. C’est à la dégustation que le bourbon se fait ressentir, toujours avec une expression du Brett en avant mais bien contrebalancé et accompagné par le bourbon. Caramel, orange et une pointe d’épices complètent le cocktail. Une très légère acidité se fait également ressentir. A partir de cela peu d’évolution. L’amertume va cependant crescendo jusqu’au final, tout en restant modérée. L’arrière bouche, un peu plus acide manque d’ampleur. Heureusement la longueur est appréciable. L’alcool à 8 % ne se ressent pas réellement et aurait pu être quelque peu poussé. Bière intéressante et globalement appréciable. Un grand merci à Vincent :)

Clear orange beer, small creamy yellowish head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, yellow summer fruits, tannins, wood notes, nice brett, me like a lot! MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bit fruity, lots of brett, very bitter, dry, lots of tannins. Aftertaste: fruity, bitter, bit resinous, lots of brett, wood, nice stuff going on here!

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and over ripe fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Golden orange pour with small ringed whit head. Sweet fruity and grassy herbal hoppy, some bretty notes, apricot fruity, touch of yeast, medium to light body, some bourbon soaked wooden notes into the finish. Nice.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Tart fruity aroma with bretts, wooden notes, bourbon barrel. Taste is light sour. Dry, fruity finish.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, advertised as Brett Saison, Bourbon BA, 9%. 8th Februry 18. Pours dark amber. Aroma is Brett, yeast, sour. Taste is complex, barrel, brett, just enough, fruit, yeast, wood. Really good.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange, small white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy and phenolic. Funky, fruity, phenolic. Bretty. Slight herbal. Bretty and fruity. Medium dry and slight herbal finish.

Draft tasting glass @ BBP Anniversary Festival 2017. Oh my a 8 % Bourbon BA Brett Saison from France & it is quite tasty at that. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is some sweet bourbon but mixed with yoghurt profile. Taste is round low sweeter bourbon integrated with yoghurt, caramel, oak but thinned out, yoghurt, brett finish. Bit round lacto bourbon brew. Interesting & tasty beer.
