A low off-white head on a caramel/amber body. The nose features caramel malt, berries, cherry and a slight metallic edge. A big, slick barleywine. Rich caramel and toffee, solid citrus hops, touches of spice and berries, and sweet figs and dates. A dense rich body with a slightly slick mouth feel.

A red copper barleywine with a thick creamy frothy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, plums, licorice, alcohol warmth, light solvent notes, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light peated notes, alcohol warmth, light licorice, dark fruits, a tad unbalanced. On tap at Brouhaha Rosemont.

Tap at Vices & Versa. Reddish in color with a tan head. Jammy figs and spice in the aroma, the taste adds floral and a tad of a boozy character. Tastes like a barleywine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention with some light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some fruity notes and light residual sugar notes is quite awesome. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes with light fruity undertones, some toffee with light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable barleywine that drinks really well.
