August 2019: 500 ml bottle, from SPAR Ålbæk. ABV is 8.8%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts and caramel hints of over-ripe berries. Malty flavour too, again some caramel but not too sweet, fairly distinct bittering hops.

Backlog June 2019. Unclear golden body under a small off-white head. Unpleasant aroma of cooked vegetables, asparagus and butterscotch. Taste is better than expected from aroma, not much off flavors surprisingly not. Sweet caramel malt and a bit spicy. Medium body and average aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a rough, off-white head. Sweet diacetyl aroma. Rich, sweet malts, unclean, rather bitter finish. Doesn't have much of a Belgian touch. 271219

Friday 1st Feb 2019; 7th Pre-Brugge Bier Festival International Beer Swap, De Bierboom. This is one of the many bottles that landed on my table for me to try, it is OK to take a decent sized sample (within reason) because there are so many beers to share. Slight haze to the amber body, weak white head. Malty little number with caramel to the fore in both the aroma and taste, mild herbal twist in the flavour. My sweet tooth liked it, but surrounded by so many 'good beers' this didn't really hold it's own.
