Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Light gold. Soft haze. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. Nose has lemon rind and peel. Fruity, peachy brett. Some mandarin. Some melon. Very vibrant and bright. Taste is quite dry, first off, with a crisp, tangy bite of sourness. Lively mouthfeel. Foamy but sharp. Fruity brett on the finish.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours totally clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma, good brett expression, some ripening lemon, peach and melon. The flavour with lightly tart, with nice bready sweetness, some restrained funk, mild woody dryness, more lemon, wheat bread, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes fairly full on the palate, with more wholesome bready character, supportive but not excessive brett funk, subtle musty hay bales, aged lemon, pale wood, pizza crust. Overall, really good stuff. Quite subtle, but there is a lot of character that works its way out of this beer. The more I drink it, the more I like it.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a hazy golden yellow, small white head. Aroma of soft sugary brett, bready, lightly spicy. Taste presents soft funk with moderate to light sugary brett character. Lightly spicy with some subtle lemon shades. Perhaps another 6 months would see this brett blossom.

Bottle at Redchurch. It pours cloudy golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is earthy, musty, funky, big brett vibe, quite sweet actually, icing sugar, candied orange and peachy action. The taste is quite mellow, bitter - sweet, earthy, musty, funky, brett, wood, over - ripe apricot, peaches & cream, brioche, bit spicy and icing sugar with a soft, sweetish and funky finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. It’s maybe a touch sweet perhaps. Interesting though.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, 14/03/17. Light haze on a golden yellow pour topped with a decent off white swirl. Nose is light funk, brett, mellow citric pissoi, straw, grains. Taste comprises citric sherbets, yeast trace, vanilla, straw, hay bale, mellow brett infuse, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with a citric hop bite. Ok stuff but lacks depth for the ABV.

ACBF 2017. Thank you for sharing kraddel, tderoeck, Travlr & friends. Sampled cask. Golden, small white head. Nose is weird soap, lemonade, soap, chemical. Taste is weird soap, chemical, low vegetable, thin fizzy, industrial, soap... Body is thin soap. Strange, not my kind of sour profile.
