Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Clear golden, small head. Mild peppery coriander aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Dough, ripe fruit, herbal spice and notes of lemon. Warming bitterish finish. Unusual and tasty.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with dry hoppy notes and light citrusy and lemony notes. Taste is also dominated by wheat malt with little residual sugar notes and quite a bit of dry-hop notes with some lemony notes also noticeable. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Enjoyable but would have preferred more focus on the malt profile and less lemony/citrusy notes.

Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a white cap, decent retention and lacing. Aromas of Belgian Ale yeast with some fruity wheat and floral hops. Spices in the flavours with some light sweetness from the sugar and a finish with the grassy hops. Well-hidden alcohol with a silky mouthfeel. A nice Imperial witbier with more hoppiness than most of this style. A nice addition to their brews, and great for winter.

Nice Belgian white with coriander and a good note of banana. Bread yeast, Belgian floral yeast here comes together with a little tang due to high alcohol - booze always makes this style interesting. Tap at brewpub.
