Backlog April 2018. Gusher, unclear amber body under a big, creamy tan head. Nice aroma, slightly acidic funky with fruit, dark malt and caramel. Taste is sweet and acidic with malt, caramel, fruit, chocolate, dry fruit and spicy yeast. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Interesting and nice.

From bottle @ Borefts. Dark amber color. Malt and butter in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly, soft roasty flavor. Vinous, hint of brett. Alcoholic.

Flaske 750ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Kommer krypende ut av flaska. Greit å ha vask i nærheten. Dyprød amber. Litt uklar. Høyt skum som daler raskt. Lett søtlig krydderaroma. Smaken mandler & plommer - men den ødelegges av kullsyra. Hint av tørket aprikos i avslutningen.

KRS 091216. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, dried fruit, caramel, chocolate. Flavor is sweet, sugar, yeast, oxidation, roasted malt, dried fruits, caramel, chocolate, bred, coffee, brett. Very nice beer.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Dark brown colour, large off-white to beige head. Aroma of cascara (coffee cherry tea) and redcurrants, also brown sugar, mild spices and hints of farmhouse and tobacco. The flavour is medium sweet with strong notes of brown sugar, also cascara and mild spices, moderate hops. Pretty solid beer.

Bottle shared at London tasting, October 2016. This is in a Belgian style in that I do think they did anything weird to it, which is what I prefer for quad. Dark brown color. so more of the Abbot style. Well carbonated, tall white head. Sweet, aging fruit, some pear. Good.
