Bottle no.07546/11000. Got this one from a Belgian beer shop wrecently but see now that this one is for their anniversary in 2015 and best before 2020. A lot of pressure in the bottle, beware of the rocketing cork! Color: Slightly hazy amber, very big but fast diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma: Bretty, hints of fruity stone fruit. Taste: A lot of Brett. Malty, light sweetness and light to moderate sour. Very light bitterness. Some caramel and fruity notes of a mix of stone fruit, banana and citrus. Bit spicy also. Dry-ish Brett finish. Medium body, over carbonated. Nice one for a Brett lover like me, even after all those years.

Bottle 06894. Cork exploded from the bottle. Very lively. Clear dark golden colour. Aroma and flavour have plenty of Brett funk and sweet malts. Dry finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Amber, hazy with a huge frothy offwhite head. A fruity aroma, with some malt and banana sense. Light bittersweet with a good hop, spices and sweet malt end. WC 2018, quarter final, Belgium- Brasil. Perfect rolling 7 times occasion.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 29.01.18. Cloudy pale chestnut colour. Aroma of malt, yeast, sweaty stable boy, paint, citrus and American hops. Rather good!

750 ml corked & caged bottle, No. 01228/11000. Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. The cork went straight to the ceiling - overcarbonated. Deep golden colour, huge and coarse white head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse and oak, hints of vinegar. Brett flavour too, woody, but not very sour. Some hops.

Bottle sample @ Vine Birre Ribelli ’16.

750 ml. bottle sampled Thanks to Kraddel! JorisPPattyn’s review shines an interesting light on this one. DeScription makes me think of an attempt to make an Orval styled beer. Bottle 8673/11000 (limited to only 11 thousand bottles, wowza :) Dark orange amber, creamy off-white head. Nose is funk, very odd mineral toothpaste-like brett, iron, some medicinal orange peel & almost medicinal brett. Interesting. Fizzy, grainy bodied & taste-wise, mineral, faintly medicinal brett, toothpaste, oddly sweet, powdery, spoiled orange peel, lightly boozy. Grainy, orange peel & fizzy character make it hard to drink, flavor profile is a bit too much for me, mineral, toothpaste, faintly medicinal,… A bit to interesting but an interesting one especially in the light of JorisPPattyn’s review. For me is a bit too much. Also I was surprised to learn that this brewery is that old.
