Very red. Bright. No head. Sweet-tart character. The sweetness is really predominant here. Too simple, bland - and from the description it shouldn't be that way.

Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal okt-16: mørk rødlig rav med flott skum og intens aroma og smak av sure kirsebær i en slank og lettdrikkelig maltkropp. Snerpende syrlig og tørr avslutning.

On tap at Cardinal Pub Bar, Stavanger. Dark ruby colour, low off-white to beige head. Lovely and unusual aroma of Ferrero Mon Cherie cherry chocolates, cherry kernels, almonds and marzipan, some lactic acid. Flavour of sour cherries and lactic acid, maybe a tad too much of the latter.

Draft. An unclear red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of lacto, brettanomyces, roasted malt, bread, and berries. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, lemons, and berries, leading to a very tart finish.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a litany of sour cherries, with light Belgian yeast presence - I don't notice the lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart cherries dominating, with medium acidity and a touch of lacto. A bit too acidic, with a highly balsamic vinegariness towards the end. Not feeling this.
