Draught@Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is apricot, wood and some mild floral notes. Flavour is floral, apricot, some wood, mild earth and also some yeasty notes to it.

Shared At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. Bottle from my Mom (Thanks Mom) given to me in London and shared in Belgium. Castor saison rakau 6% a slightly opaque gold with a foamy white head. Wheat, spice & NZ hops. Bitter, a bit Bretty, wheat, floral & fruity, some rye spiciness with a dry finish.

Bottle @ Drink Rich’s American beer, thanks to KansaiBeerLvrs. Petit plus pour une belle étiquette emplit d’humour. Dorée clair, col blanc. Arôme au bouquet fruité et très plaisant, retrouve un bon côté tropical, fleuri avec une effluve assez belge dans l’usage de la levure. Palais reste assez sec, grains, de belles notes houblonnées arrivent en rétro. Retrouve cependant un caractère C-Hop américain avec le côté frais et tropical de Nelson mais également de Rakau. Le tout conserve une petite note épicée, possible seigle? un fini s’apparentant à un houblonnage à cru pour un fini restant sec. Au-delà de son côté rustique belge de levure, on s’éloigne un peu ce que l’on trouve en région hennuyère. L’apport des houblons vaut le détour.

Clear pale blond beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, citrus, quite some grapefruit, pineapple, bit of passion fruit. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, citrus, grapefruit, nice fruitiness, kiwi and lychee. Aftertaste: medicinal touch, dry, citrus, grassy, bitter hops.

Bottle smuggled back from the country of Quebec. Lively deep golden color with a huge stream of carbonation bubbles below a huge tightly bubbled white head. Earthy light funk with citrus and tropical fruitiness. Hints of pepper and a touch of alcohol round us out. Lingering spicy bitterness. Tasty brew, but somewhat heavy on the peppery spice or maybe thats hop bitterness its kind of blurry.

L’olfactif se démarque par son bouquet très floral avec des notes de Cabernet-Sauvignon, de coriandre, d’herbes fraiches et de thym. Au tournoiement, des notes de gazon frais se laissent découvrir. Un olfactif surtout houblonné. Je n’aurais pas détesté plus de notes de levure. Un visuel jaune / doré, clair, à la mousse petite et fuyante. L’attaque est houblonnée avec beaucoup de Cabernet et de gazon. en bouche, on perçoit beaucoup de notes dérivées des houblons. Le Nelson Sauvin est partout; les herbes et le gazon sont omniprésents. Absence notable d’accents de levure saison. À cheval entre une IPA et une saison. Je préfère les vrais saisons.

Draught @ Moeder Lambic. Aroma is fresh with soapy tones and funky yeast. Also urinal tones. Flavour has strong funky yeast, mild spices, grassy hops and minerals. A refreshing saison.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of light tropical fruit notes with dry hoppy notes is quite interesting. Taste is a nice mix of light rustic malt notes with some floral hoppy notes with light white wine/tropical fruit notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well brewed and quite enjoyable overall even though hops oil notes could be more pronounced.

Draft - Citrus and yeasty esters, a mess. Pale yellow gold with a decent white head. Yeasty and peppery, not particularly good or interesting.
