Bottle shared @ RBBWG 2016. Hazy dark amber colour, white foam. Sweet nose of ripe fruits and caramel. Too much carbonation. Unbalanced. Not very good.

0.75 l bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen, 7.3% abv. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a tan head. Sweetish-malty, yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, honey and spices. Sweetish-malty, yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey, nuts and spices, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, effervescent mouthfeel. Okay.

Thank you for sharing jefverstraete 750 ml. bottle shared @ RBBWG V. BBf 05.2015. Hazy orange amber orange, creamy white. Nose is weird perfume, apple, milky, vegetable. Taste is perfume, overly vegetable, fizzy perfume, milky, vegetable,… Overly fizzy milky. Not a fan. Not really getting the hop that suppodely makes this special. I question the RB style Doppelbock.

20/II/16 - 75cl bottle @ RBBWG V (Ben's place) - BB: V/2015 (2016-185) Thanks to Benzai for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, creamy thick yellow head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: wow, this is very dirty, yeasty, spicy, ginger or something? Bit fruity, sweet, sugary, something is definitely off here. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, lots of overripe banana, spicy, cloves, bitter touch. Aftertaste: very spicy, cloves, bit funky, overripe banana.

Bottle shared @ Camping Ratebeer. Hazy dark orange color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste lightly malts, sweetness, a hint of bitter. Totally not a doppelbock imo. But it’s drinkable.
