Bottle possibly from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - dark brown to black. Fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate but more like coffee. Taste - coffee, biscuits and more dark chocolate. Palate - creamy and light bodied. Reasonable persistence considering the style, and not too bitter. Overall - quite good considering the style.

Bottle at home picked up from Beer Ritz. A dark nut brown coloured pour with a fine tan head. Aroma is almond milk, earthy, milky roast, twig, dry and powdery. Flavour is composed of little thin, earthy roast, bark, watery, chalky, . Pretty bland. Palate is watery, fine carbonation, thin. Meh.

Bottle from Thornbridge, who very kindly agreed to deliver to Germany and even gave me 25% discount to help offset the delivery cost. Had this Wednesday 29th April 2020 listening to Craig Charles on 6Music standing in for Steve Lamaq, Loz and Kostas are baking a cake and cooking tonight's tea Schnitzel (I cooked last night). Pours black with a head that very, very quickly departed so much so that I didn't note the details. Soft mouthfeel, a little creamy, watery cappuccino. Understandably it's a little thin but like its sibling Zero Five, it's really not bad at all for a non alcoholic beverage. Actually, just had to nip out and on return 20mins later the coffee has come through a lot more, so one extra point.

5/IV/20 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 24/IX/20 (2020-303)
Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, quite some chocolate, nice roast, caramel touch, grains, hint of coffee. MF: soft carbon, light body. Taste: bit metallic, very watery, grains, bitter, not much roast in the flavour, rather bland. Aftertaste: more metallic, gentle roast, malty, some caramel, very watery, milk chocolate notes.

Pours black, small, mildly tanned to white head. Smell is roasty to ashy, full, mild lactose. Taste is burnt, ashy, coffee-with-milk, mild lactose. Roasty, ashy finish. Very thin bodied, obviously. Medium carbonation. No alcohol stout keeps sounding like the real thing to me, but they never really are just that. The roastyness is way to sharp and ashy ( all be it this is the best one so far, and it's not AS over the top ashy) , and body is Always zero. How about some residual Sugars, to counter the ashyness and give more body? I'll still try every version I see, but there ain't no winner just yet.
