Klosterbrauerei Baumburg Hell, jetzt mit 5 %, frische Flasche von Edeka, Baumburg. - Hellgelb, blank. - In der Nase gerstiges helles Malz, luftige, mild zitrusfruchtig-hopfenwürzige Hopfung und zarte Vanille. - Antrunk schlank und frisch hellmalzig mit feiner zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung, wenig herb aber aromatisch. Eine dezente gerstige Note sorgt dafür, daß die zarte Restsüße mit Anklängen an Vanille nicht dominiert. Milder rezent. Im Abgang feine zitrusfruchtige Herbe, die leicht hopfenwürzig unterlegt ist, was dem Bier Tiefgang verleiht. - Mild aber aromatisch, ja elegant gehopftes Helles mit der gerstigen Note, die ich so schätze. Etwas leichter als das zum Vergleich verkostete Baumburger Export hell aber auf seine Weise ebenso überzeugend. (30.5.2024.)

From bottle. Sourdough, white wine, grassy hops, bread, buckwheat, grain and hay. Dry bitterness, slightly sour and grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry grassy vinous finish. Nice!
