TCBW2025. Hazy amber colour, small head. Aroma is toasted, some tartness, mild smoky tones with some wooden tones too. Flavour is toasted malts, some tartness, smoked wet wooden tones with mild acidity too.

At Winter Affair '25. 5% ABV. Notes are brief. Sourness and smokiness are the defining characteristics here, which is to be expected reading the description. Thin bodied, feels a bit watery, but nevermind. A very good beer.

5%, at Winter Affair 2025. Lightly hazy golden body, lasting off-white head. Heavily smoky aroma, with a bit of goat cheese (!). Lean, dry taste, citric smoked goat cheese basically. Very fun!

Pours a hazed blonde. No head. Scent is smoked, but not over the top. Bit cheesy (isovaleric?) Taste is medium intense, dry, low to no carbo. Smoke is mildly present, tad tart. Not overly wheat forward.

Clear ochre, thin, off-white head. Aroma of bacon, cooked ham, unripe peach, pear, tobacco, wheat. Taste has sweetish peach, sweet-sour citrus flesh and peel; wheaty malt and smoky notes, yet gentle. Tart stonefruit-like finish, smoky, meaty, acidic. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. So odd stylewise, but works so well.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, minimal white head. Aroma: Smoky, fruity, tart. Taste: Smoke, lightly tart, fruity gooseberry and lemon notes, orange hints. Medium to just under medium body. Bit oily, diluted olive-oil like. Almost no carbonation, not sure wether it's meant as flat as this? .

Dorée présentant un léger voile, pas vraiment de col si ce n'est qcq bulles éparses à la surface.
Arôme est de suite marqué par un bouquet plaisant sur le malt fumé le tout avec un léger rétro de funk et de fruits à noyaux.
Palais est un beau mariage entre une approche 'sour' qui reste plutôt discrète et au profit de ce caractère fumé. En retrait, léger apport fruité, un peu plus doux, le tout n'est pas spécialement aidé par une effervescence à al ramasse et qui ne profite pas au résultat final. Le reste cependant assez convainquant comme style ancien à l'orée d'un gruit.

Little cloudy pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: wow, very intense, lots of diacetyl, super smoky, peated as well, very funky and weird, a bit fruity. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: very smoky start, funky, infected, a bit flat, soft acidity, spicy notes, herbal as well. Aftertaste: smoky, a bit sweet, fruity, some stone fruits, orange peel.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong smoked malt, olive, wood. Light body, smoke, wheat, light finish, decent.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Malty smokey aroma. Starts mild, malty, sourish, fine smokey touch. Fruity hints of lemon. Finish milder, less sour. Nice.
