Slightly hoppy in the nose, blond color, slightly bitter attack, which develops slightly acidic in the mouth, typical of spelt, which gives a very fresh and thirst-quenching taste.

My third beer at the 2014 Brugge Beer Festival: on draft at the breweries stall/bar. Poured with a haze to it’s golden body, on top a good sized white crown. Mixed bag of aromas and tastes: malty, floral and fruity with a yeasty overtone, all blending in well to produce an interesting and for Belgium weak alcohol beer. Medium bodied and an ideal beer to have during a Belgian beer festival as it was surrounded by big hitters and heavy brews, those I attacked with gusto later.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, slightly a touch of sweetness, hay and decently bitter. Quite crisp, quite refreshing. Average to medium body, medium carbonation. Quite nice for the low ABV.

(Draught at Delirium Tap Bar, Brussels, 27 Oct 2013) Golden yellow colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of white bread, peaches and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with bread, peaches, citrus, dried pineapple and a fairly dry finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

15 cl. sampled draft @ Modeste 2013. Hazy bright orange with a creamy white head. Smell is citrus, quite hoppy with some sweet caramel malts but not overpowering, juicy with some sweetness,... Taste is sweet citrus with some hops, caramel malts but not dominating, some spices, bitter peel, lemon peel, some light BE yeast but very nice balance & hops. Nice sweetish light BE body, nice profile.

Note de grains sèche, rappelant épeautre, belle effervesence. Côté citronné reste présente du houblon, fini sec - grains aspect feuilles vertes et un côté fruité léger pamplemousse.

Bottled at the Leiderkerke Beer Festival. Orange-brown with lace. Grainy nose, spicy, earthy. Some alternative grains in there. Spicy flavor, rye maybe, bready, peppery, some caramel. Clean, light, with a prickly finish. Decent.

7/IX/13 - 33cl bottle @ Tuinfeest Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: n/a (2013-831) Thanks to Kris for sharing today's beers!

Clear orange beer, small off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, exotic fruits, little chemical, floral notes, a bit off. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: very fruity, citrus, sweet ripe summer fruits, hoppy, little sugary. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, fruity, citrus, bit grassy, sweet and fruity ending. Definitely not bad for a 4.21% ABV!
