33 cl bottle served in white wine glass. Copper to chestnut hue, slightly cloudy and very dark, with a dense, thick, nicely lacing, tan head. Aroma is mild to medium: cane sugar, cashew, almond, cocoa, tobacco. Silky, velvety, creamy. Medium-bodied, quite round. No sweetness, no bitterness. Medium to low persistence.

Uit fles. Prachtig schuim, mooi donker van kleur. Veel aroma. Meer een bier voor herfst of winter dat wel, maar vol van smaak.

0,33 l bottle. Pours reddish brown with big frothy tan dissipating head. Aroma is malt, bread, yeast, some toffee caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is dominated by malts. Light sweetness is complemented with noticeable peppery bitterness. Body is full and rounded, texture is slick, carbonation lively. Finish is long and bitter. Very nice.
