Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear orange color, full sized a bit rough white to off-white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, lightly herbs or spices, spicy hops. Taste malts, herbs or spices again, malty herbal bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Meh, don’t like this, a bit too herbal / spicy for me.

Bottle. Cloudy orange (and I poured carefully), huge rocky golden head. Fresh spicy and citric nose: Lime, lemongrass, coriander, szechuan pepper. Dry, sparkly, medium-full body. Orangepeel, light wheat, fresh hops, a hint minerals, spices slipped into the background, drinks like a hoppy wheat beer at this point, still pleasant and moreish.

Slightly hazy warm golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, yeast, green banana, candy. Lighty hoppy flavour, mint, quite fresh. Finish mint, yeast, spices and candy.

Bouteille @ 4de Gentse Bierfestival.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ GBF 2013. Dark amber with a white head. Nose is hay, BE yeast, grass, spices and quite herbal. Taste is bitter BE yeast, surprisingly lots of mint, huge mint chewing gum taste, that sure is new for me, sweet caramel, white bread, bitter herbs, hay and touch spices. BE yeast dominating body. I am not a fan of mint chewing gum but this sure was interesting. Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing.

Small, disappearing yellowish head over fully hazy amber-orange beer. Ginger, rosemary, chervil,... Flavours yield rosemary, lavender and more. Overspiced to the detriment of enjoyment. Slick, medium bodied. Slim? In der Beschränkung zeigt sich der Meister, the Germans maintain. They’re right.
