Bottle 75 cl. Called “Buffalo Grand Cru Barrel aged beer” at 10% ABV. Vintage 2016, Bottle # 00188. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a lacing, beige head. Woody nose, some balsamico if not overly acetic. Medium body, dry and woody, some tannins, faint nuttiness paired with dark, dried fruits. We’re in Flanders Red territory if not as complex as the best in the style. 241223

75 cl. bottle sampled @ GBF 2013. Appearance is black with a mocha head. Nose is chocolate, sweetish, coffee, malt with a nice sourish wine tang. Taste is sweet vinous, red wine mixed with chocolate, coffee, malts, oak, caramel, great red wine profile. Creamy body, really, really nice. Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing.
