375mL bottle, pours black with a tan head. Rich aroma of roasted malt, unusually strong hops, coffee and alcohol. Flavour of rich roasted malt, strong hops, bitter chocolate, coffee - extremely complex and rich palate. Amazing imperial stout.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of coffee and dry roasted malt with some very subtle vinous notes. Aroma of coffee is dominated with a dry roasted malt finish with some very subtle and unique vinous notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done and something I would wish to have more often.

Bottle that the brewer kindly gave to me when I visited the brewery in Denmark back in Sept 08, along with the shirt off of his back, many thanks to Mr Raasted youre a gentleman. Pours pitch black with a light beige head, mmmhhh this is wonderfully hoppy and fascinating to try straight after the Brewdog Isle of Arran. There is a nice juiciness from those North American hops that gets stuck straight into the roasty bitter snap. This stuff like the Brewdog beer is very thick leaving an oil slick down the glass. You drink this and wonder whether in the way that you get garlic breath from partaking off too much garlicky food whether this could happen with the hops, I do a hoppy burp and ponder that one, great stuff.
