Easy to drink, refreshing fruit IPA. We have used grapefruit and mandarin to give this beer a real citrus punch. Brewed with Chinook and Mandarina Bavaria hops; offering up a delicious zesty flavour and aroma.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at M&S Canary Wharf. Pours crystal clear orange-gold with a staunch, frothy white head. Not the best, but not horrible. Has some basic grainy pale malts, vague ripening citrus, some subtly bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, more pale grains, sun-kissed pale malts, oranges, background vegetal notes. Basic stuff for sure.

Clear 500ml bottle; BB March 2019. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 26th July 2018. Orange body, wispy white head. Citrus aroma and taste, as you'd expect when they say " Made with fresh Grapefruit and Grapefruit & Mandarin flavourings" on the label. Couldn't get the thought of a sickly syrup mixture out of my head once I had read that, ruined my enjoyment of the beer to be honest.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pale Amber in colour, with a thin, white, head. Sweetish, malty, flavour, with a pronounced, orange scented, kick. Flavour had a similar, rather disjointed, mix of caramel, sweet malts and big marmalade character. A bit strange, but perfectly drinkable.

50cl bottle from Tesco, Amersham. A bright pale amber colour with a loose white head; aroma of cheap lemonade and light malts; similar taste; and a light biscuit finish. Drinkable, but some rather artificial flavours.

Bottle from Tesco and drunk at home. Clear orange gold colour lasting white head. Citrus aroma. Lemon, lime and some orange. Same in mouth, all fake and artificial. Is it any good? Well better than the Belhaven Mango. Not terrible but not bad either. Finish is ok, some bitterness. Malts are light.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is soapy lemon and grapefruit. Taste has soapy lemon and caramel to start. Skunky mandarin and tea finish.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Clear golden with next to no head. It's pretty much the same tasting standard skunky IPA you get in bottles up and down the country with some lemon in its taste. The lemon does get a lot more pronounced in its nose. Bought in a clear bottle and consumed soon after purchase given it's in a clear bottle, it was still fairly skunky tasting regardless.
