Old rating - A 330ml bottle picked up in Vilnius, Lithuania. Poured at home in Jersey, UK. It's a berry red with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, bread, licorice, hints of spice & alcohol Medium body. Soft carbonation. Warm finish

Bottle at home. Pours deep ruby with no head at all. There's some chocolate, some very faint vanilla touch and sweet booze in aroma and taste and it closes with a long, spicy and sweetish finish. Quite light bodied with average to soft carbonation, easy to drink. Wouldn't be bad just way too messy, unsophisticated and a bit thin.

Bottle. Dark Brown color. Caramel, dried fruit And a hint of licorice in the aroma. And flavor. Full bodied, vanilla, floral, hint of red peppers. Perfumed, even a bit soapy.

Dense cream head, very regular and slowly building up and receding again over red-shot black-brown beer. Liquorice, gingerbread, speculoos, but also chili, molesauce. Vanilla, vanillabieans, Erstatz chocolate with stearineoil etc., and in every sip chiliheat, also the capsicum flavour; human sweat. Heat, slightly irritating, very slick and medium bodied. Not at all fan.

Fles 33cl thuis. Caramel, rood fruit, zuurtje, zoeten, licht chocolade, zacht, vanilletonen. Pepertje in de nadronk blijft te lang aanwezig en overvleugeld de andere smaken daardoor. (24-11-2018).

17th Sep 2018; monthly beer share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, usual five suspects in attendance. Cheers Simon for the 330ml bottle; BB 8th Dec 2018. Misty, deep amber body, wispy head. Mini chocolate and vanilla aroma and taste with a little heat arriving at the finish.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep '18, thanks to Simon. Pours misty brown, off-white foamy head. Aroma has some chocolate, distant vanilla. Taste is smooth malts, chocolate, light chili kick. A little wishy washy.

330ml bottle. Pours a deep amber colour with sediment, very thin head dissipating quickly. Aroma of vanilla, dark fruits, chocolate, malts, caramel. Taste of vanilla and chocolate, spicy warming chilli, dark fruits, malts, caramel, sweet, warming finish. Quite thin, watery, light-medium bodied, soft carbonation. Good flavour combination but lacking in body.
