A light, golden single hop ale showcasing the Columbus variety grown in the USA in a typically Yorkshire, modern session ale style. Bitterness is kept to a moderate level but large additions of Columbus late in the boil and during fermentation give the beer a delightful fruity character along with its own uniquely distinctive Columbus aroma. A great accompaniment to fish dishes, this beer sits equally well on its own.

Cask, handpump at The Crown and Sceptre, Marylebone area, Wednesday 26th April 2017. A good golden beer with a nice fruity bite, blitzy bitterness, dry finish, however in this light appears more light copper than golden. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Cask at Simon the Tanner. Light haze on this gold beer, bubbly white head. Palate is a tad soft and mildly dry, modest carbonation. Soft pale malts. Mild floralness. Nice lemony hop with a touch of grapefruit. Touches of pith and sherbet on the back end. Decent.

Cask at Simon the Tanner - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pale malt in the nose, light grain, lemon rind. Light sweet flavour with some floral hops, grass, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more grassy and floral hops, dry pale grains, more citrus peel. Not bad on the whole.
