Mondo taproom. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, no head! Palate is light, semi dry and has a good fine crispness. Tangy dark malts. Minerals. Little spice. Crisp finish. A one dimensional schwarz but crispy enough to be drinkable.

Tap@Mondo Tap Room, London - black pour with lazing beige head. Roasted and roasted malty, some cocoa, earthy, light caramel sweetness, hoppy backing, overall pretty decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Easily the best Schwarzbier in London. I was very surprised. Good work. Taster from Clayton.

Keg at Mondo. It pours darkest brown, near black with a small beige head. The aroma is rich, earthy roast, coffee grounds, light sweetness and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter, earthy, cocoa nibs, chewy malt, coffee grounds, umami, dark fruits, berry skin and a touch of acidity. Finish is bitter - sweet and toasty. Overall not bad. Decent character.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. The nose has decent roast, toasty bread, faint cocoa. Medium sweet, with toasted biscuits, a little chocolate, light earthy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish, more toast, cocoa, light earth. Nice one.

Keg at Mondos Tap, Saturday 13th February 2016 Black in colour with a beige head, a light roasty lilt on the nose. A black lager I am told, it’s another very steady, fine beer, its ok but unlikely to excite. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0
