Bottle shared at the CBJ tasting, thanks to Marcin, 12/06/24. Black topped with a tan head that thins to the edge and a swirl. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, dried fruit rinds, pinch of spice. Taste comprises dark malts, apple brandy schmack, molasses, toffee, chocolate pot. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid sipper with a good barrel edge to it.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a small brown head that dies down. A big barrel nose, brandy and sugary malts. Sweet, the base is huge which helps so much, sugary vinous brandy. Low carb. Lovely.

Panda from Danlo, cheers Ed. Pours deep brown to black with minor tan bubbles. Aroma: chocolate malts, toffee, molasses, apple brandy barrel, dried fruits, oak, vanilla. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, roasty bitterness. Caramel, cocoa, brown sugar, apple brandy, wood, lightly spicy. Smooth, dry on the palate. Medium to full body with low carbonation.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Black brown colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of malt, caramel, molasses, brandy barrel, oak, vanilla. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, brown sugar, roasted, dried fruits, boozy, apple brandy, with barrel notes and earthy woody bitterness. Smooth, full bodied, soft carbonation, drying sweet boozy roasty finish. Nicely sippable,

Bottle shared at CBJ - Bermondsey. Cheers! Pours clear, deep brown with a modest, creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with nice, stewed dark fruit character, raisins, prunes, figs and dates, some cocoa, light roast, booze. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more dark fruits, subtle ashy roast. Solid overall.

Bottleshare at CBJ, Can, thanks to Marcin. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth mellow dark malts, a reasonable fine carbonation. Soft apple brandy, a little spicy. Airy finish.

Bottle at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet. Oily, brown sugars, bruised grape, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, bitter maple, spicy,.. Lingering bitter roast. Lovely.

Bottle. Pours inky black, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is earthy, dark chocolate, anise, molasses, brandy, cigars. Flavor is medium plus sweet, medium bitter, rich and earthy. Lingering bitterness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

ABV: (12.9)%. Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, alcohol - apple - calvados. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, wood, apple brand - calvado, ripe fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210417]
