Can at home, golden orange beer, small head. Aroma is fruit, citrus, hops, some mint? Taste is the same, weird little beer. Is the mint from the hops?

25th November 2020
Can. Almost clear gold beer, no head really forms here, the patchy mess that starts to coalesce is gone in instant. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Thin but pretty sweet malts. Maybe a whisper of milky sweet diacetyl. Where is Harrisoni when you need him? Every household needs a Harrisoni for emergency diacetyl detection. And many many other reasons! Idaho 7 is a bloody glorious hop so any single hop dipa that features it should shine. Innit? Well it nearly does. A good crisp minty pine in to the slightly resinous piney citrus fruits. Quite a minty finish. It's delivering good Idaho 7 but it misses the cherry on top, that ripe tropical fruits flavour. Crisp and semi dry finish. Tres drinkable and just a yard short of greatness. Yes that is a yard, look it up.

Can picked up from Beerdome webshop, Grootegaste, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 15th November 2020 whilst listening to Rolling Coastal Blackouts Fever - Sideways to Italy. making Greek style lamb, spinach and feta pie. Fruity aroma though there is a hint of butter. Colour is mid gold edging towards light amber, hazy. Nice soft mouthfeel, fruity, really fruity, bitterness, pithy edge. This is a very nice DIPA.

Boozy, heavy malts, big sweet pineapple fruitiness, very floral, resiny, sharp from the booze and the hops. (📺 Tarsem Singh ‘The Fall’ 2006)

33cl Blik van Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Licht-troebel, goudgeel, witte kraag. Aroma van wat tropisch fruit, gras, netels, wiet. Smaak volgt, redelijk fruitig en netelig, wiet, onkruid, degelijke bitter. Medium body, lichte alcoholwarmte. Lekker.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', canned in August 2020. Almost clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, quite dank and resiny aroma of mango, marijuana, orange and a touch of pine. Gently sweet, quite fruity, rather dank and resiny taste of mango, marijuana, orange and a touch of pine, followed by a short, quite herbal-resiny finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and slightly chewy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Impressive DIPA, intensely resiny and dank, really good.
