For the first time ever in our IPA series we’re collaborating with another brewery! Together with Aslin Beer Co. out of Virginia we made a classic DIPA with some of the most unique and sought after hops we could find. Strata, Zappa and Comet lend a deliciously dank passionfruit forward character with underlying notes of mango and citrus.

Pours unclear yellow. Medium sized, lower lifespanned white pillowy head. Scent is citrus, milder tropical, bit malty. Taste is full, creamy, NE style yeastyness. Very malty (wheat , barley ) Hops are most definately present, but not as bright and fruity as I had hoped. Mild bitterness.

Burk i hemmet utan förförelse Dipa. Dofta fint av tunga lätt övermogna 🥭 grejer. Smajar fan precis likartade. Lätt övermogna tropiska grejer samt mindre tropiska 🍐. Lågt kolsyrad. Låg men fin beska och inte för söt. Fyllig Dipa på ”bara” 8%. Jättebra Modén Dipa.

16oz shared with Alex and Brian in Golden Ears on the Cold Creek campground. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: nice tropical fruits notes. Taste: along the same, relatively dry with a noce tropical fruits bitterness. Overall: very nice.

Can from Legacy. Vibrant yellowish colour. The aroma is quite bright, with floral and tropical fruit notes. On the palate, it comes across pretty strong, with an alcoholic note, moderate bitterness, lots of residual malts. The hop brightness is nowhere near what it is on the nose, however, which is disappointing, and not all that normal for Collective Arts. All told, it's not bad, but it's definitely missing something not bringing that brightness to counter the alcoholic signature.

Very deep and super hazy golden, orange and raw honey coloured body with a thinnish, two to three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of strong citrusey and floral notes dominate with a dank, resinous and hop powder bite that shows some light alcohol and malts as well, but this seems very bitter, in a good way. Medium-bodied; Rich, citrusey and grassy hop notes show at first with a dry floral and very perfumey kick that has a good deal of malt right behind that creates a nice balance, but also a small dose of sugars that provide a complexity to the citrus fruits that are noticeable throughout. Aftertaste is fairly well-balanced with the dank, dry and citrusey hops remaining the strongest throughout, but the malt, citrus notes, sweetness and alcohol all find their way through the taste eventually and provide a solid complexity. Overall, a nice Imperial-ish IPA that is good to sample, but not as good as others from Aslin (but those are all fairly low alcohol in the five to six percent range) - still nice to sample, but I won't try to find any more of this one. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-July-2020 for US$3,25 sampled at my house here in Washington a few blocks away on 14-August-2020.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy bright yellow color ale with a large white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of huge tropical undertones with some juicy floral undertones is pretty enticing. Taste is a great mix of juicy hoppy notes with some mango and tropical notes with some floral undertones and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Super enjoyable NEIPA with a great mix of tropila and mango notes.

Can. Pours a hazy yellow with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has citrus and a light papaya with some sweet grains and a hint of citrus rind underlying. Flavor has slightly dank citrus with a bit of grass, light papaya and sweet grains backing.

Pretty rich hops profile here. Great to see the Canadian OGs working with Aslin. Awesome collab. Definitely more of a bitter West Coast IPA which as good as Aslin's hazies are, it would be great to see more of from their side. Big pine and grapefruit. Some caramel and booze. Golden amber pour with decent head. Bitter ass finish with some booze. Nice stuff, even though it's a couple months old. Can from Total wine.

16oz can. Poured a super hazy yellow/orange color with a small white head. Aroma was really pleasant tropical fruits, light floral hops. Flavor was mild bitterness, some very light grain, tropical fruits, pineapple, touch of floral notes. Really solid. Picked up at Costco.

The Aromas are caramel malt upfront with hints of citrus Hops and dankness in the back okay. Flavors are Sweet at first then lots of solvent and a little Citrus hops later. Okay carbonation and body with a bitter finish
