500 ml can. Cloudy purple with a fluffy head. Lots of maple syrup, chocolate, toffee, strawberries, lemon juice, lactic acid. Dry sourness, fruity chocolaty sweetness. Full bodied, milky texture, lively carbonated, dry chocolaty maple sweet finish. Very weird at the beginning but gets better with every sip!

Can, 5.5%. Mild vanilla aroma. Hint of berries, but not the citric kind. Cloudy, muddy reddish grey colour. Small white head. The flavour is sweet with a mild citric note. Mild tobacco. Faint vanilla. Paper. Chocolate? Maybe white chocolate. A strange beer, but good.

Can. Pours hazy rhubarb red with airy pinkish head. Clear aroma of chocolate, biscuit and berries, with estery touches. Dry, berrylike flavour with notes of chocolate, maple syrup, and cake, and touches of yeast. Dry aftertaste with estery touches and chocolate in the long nose. Interesting and, yes, actually better than most other experimental beers I have had.

Can sample at a tasting at Oren's place. Murky pinkish. Chocolate, butter, berries, vomit, milky, sweet-sourish. Weird.

Can from MV. Murky purple body, odd greyish head. Huge sweet maple aroma, overwhelming, trace chocolate maybe. Sweetish lean taste, ending just vaguely tart, light blueberries.maple again, vague woody, some vague cocoa. Actually pleasant. Honestly, a good pastry sour overall.

500ml can from SophiesBeerStore.co.uk. Pours a deep hazed purply, sparse pinkish white head remaining. Aroma brings to mind sweet dark fruit skittles, dusty chocolate. Taste bears some tart juicy blueberry with comforting underlying milk chocolate emerging. Gently sour. Yeah it works. It's unusual of course, and the idea of pancakes does come to mind through soft doughy moments. But it feels like it's aiming to hit the descriptor, rather than having a natural, harmonious character.

Spritziger, leicht süß-säuerlicher Beginn. Deutlich fruchtig, Vanille, Lactose, weich. Nicht ganz stimmig wirkend, mittellanger Abgang. Merkwürdig aber nicht schlecht. 10/8/11/9//9
