500ml bottle branded as Henry's IPA. Pours a clear amber colour with a white head. Aroma: bready malts, some caramel, hedgerow berries. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, bready malts, light caramel. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Bland, and to call it an IPA at 3.6% must be a GK inspired joke

Bottle. Morrisons. As Wadworth IPA. Clear, amber colour. Film and suds of white. Nose has butterscotch. Baking bread. Old hops. Taste is light sweet. Light body. Manages to feel a bit greasy, though. Light sweet finish. Just about ok for the quid spent on it.

12th April 2015
Bright clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light malts, slightly grainy. Mildly bitter floralness. Tangy thin dried fruits. Just a touch of zippy citrus. Light dry finish with a slightly grainy linger. Okay.

Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Copper with next to no head, just a few bubbles. Medium to full bodied with a light session pale ale character. Dry with some fruit and a touch fizzy in the palate.

50cl bottle from Bargain beers. Clear golden amber pour. Slight bitterness. More of a bitter than an ipa

Watery , that’s all that comes to mind here. Aroma and taste are faint, hints of caramel, but not even much hops/bitterness, yet label says IPA. Everythng about this is weak, including the ABV% Very disappointed....

Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours clearish, dull brown with a soft, white foam head. Sugary-doughy and toasty-bready malts in the nose, some honey. Light sweet flavor with mild plastic, leaves, faint caramel. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Mild dryness to finish with light caramel and further toasted bread. OK.

Golden amber in colour with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma. Thin but creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts giving a chewy digestive biscuit flavour instead of the full blown citric notes expected from an IPA - a pleasant surprise indeed! Raisin fruit notes evident and slight hop resin dryness in the balanced finish.
