Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Clear, deep ruby. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and slightly funky aroma of red grapes, redcurrant, some vinegar and a touch of oak. A little sweetish, quite sour, rather fruity and a bit funky taste of red grapes, redcurrant, cherry, some vinegar and a touch of oak, followed by a short, medium tart, rather dry and slightly funky finish. Thin body, medium astringent mouthfeel, almost flat. Nice!

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of tart grapes, yellow fruits, brett. Taste of tart dry yellow fruits, grapes, white wine, oak, nice!

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Pourpre, pas de col. Arôme au bouquet fruité plaisant, renforcé pas un bel effet de raisin et une petite pointe de vinaigre en rétro. Palais est finement acidulé avec un petit effet caramélisé fruité du raisin tout en gardant un effet aigre et funk. Ce dernier revient un peu plus sur la fin, l'effet fruité reste cependant bien plaisant et fort.

Draught @ BXLBeerFest 2018. Funky, sour and woody with some vinous berries, red wine and oak notes. Quite complex, but also still pretty smooth and balanced. Good one.

Extremely grape skins, dry tannic, acidic, medicinal herbs red wine,… Dry medicinal alpine herbal red grape skins wine,… Dry to the bone, acidic, bit dirty, alpine herbs, interesting, bit too dry medicinal herbs lingering, dry old oak, varnish almost,…..

Dark ruby body, with a medium, fluffy, lacing, light pink head.
Lovely aroma of juicy red grapes, red wine, red berries.
Tastes quite similar, a bit more tannic, with some vinegar.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes dry, a bit wooden, vinous, tannic, with lingering berry skin.
Really tasty. The nose is beautiful, with distinct red grapes everywhere. Taste is slightly too acidic for me, while also very good. Another lovely one by Jester King.
