Quite a grainy aroma, good cereals, and malts. Lihht floral hops, with some nice tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Light bitterness, and light sweetness, with a medium bitter finish. Quite nice, and refreshing, my favorite at this brewery.

Van DerBull Belge 5% taster at the brewery. Honey gold with a filmy white head. Mild witbier aroma with a medium body and decent flavor. It’s a crisp orange zest and lightly spiced (coriander) witbier.

Purchased in a small convenient store in Hull, Quebec. Pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a frothy white head that has decent retention and small lacing. Beautiful coriander aromas with witbier yeast. Refreshing mouthfeel that is a bit thin for my likings. The taste is bit mild as well. Curaçao (orange) peel is present with the light spices. A tad more bitter than most witbiers. A decent version of this type.

Hazy orange coloured body with a thin white head, some noticeable sediment towards the bottom and a bunch of bubbles. Aroma of yeast, wheat, coriander seed, curacao, honey and a decent amount of alcohol. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeast and bread flavours show first with a bit of lively coriander seed, curacao and nutmeg coming in. Aftertaste is a bit fruity, slightly sweet, but mostly yeastie and malty. Overall, not such a bad beer, but not amazing. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Depanneur Peluso (Bonisoir) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 09-April-2009 for CA$2.29 sampled at home in Washington on 14-December-2010.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a rather bready malt with light pineapples. In mouth, a rather weak and chalky ale with light bananas and cloves, lemons, creamy and cloying. On tap at Saint-Bock, Nov. 20 2009.
