In Quantic we have focussed on one of our favourite hops; Simcoe. Bucking the trend of juicy hazy pales we have created a crisp, dry and light everyday sessionable beer.
We love the piney resinous and citrus nature of Simcoe hops which pairs wonderfully with the passionfruit notes from Mosaic.

Can on 5th December 2020. Pours a pale gold with lasting white foam affording full lacing. Citrus hop aroma with pines and resins. Crisply citrusy in-mouth with touch of grapefruit and orange zest. Citrus peel in the driving seat throughout the finish. Engaging mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

330ml can from Waitrose Pontypridd. Quaffed at home. Misty pale yellow appearance, nice white head. Vibrant, fresh, zesty nose. Taste is crisp, fresh, balanced with soft pine, fresh cut grass, juicy passionfruit. Refreshing and nicely balanced. Can't understand the low ratings below.

330ml can: BB 17th Apr 2021. Drank at home on 26th Sep 2020. Very pale golden body, fluffy white head. Citrus nose and taste, watery feel mouth wise, light pine flavours below the citrus front. Not my sort of beer, but scored objectively.

[33cl can from Beer52 - Simcoe, Mosaic and Cascade hops] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head; citrusy aroma; smooth and creamy in the mouth with a passion fruit taste; and a creamy finish with a touch of citrus. Rather soft and uninteresting.

Can from Better Foods, Bristol. Pale gold in colour, with a slight haze, moderate carbonation and a thin, white, head. Aroma of grassy hop, pine and tropical fruits. Light mouth feel, with more tropical fruit flavours, a suggestion of coriander, thin malts and a dryish finish. Fine.

Can from Beer52. Pale gold with a white head and a light fizz. Really nice whiff of lime, tropical fruit and pine. Tasting is a disappointment aroma; it's thin and watery, and the flavours are rather muted. There's light lemon and lime, a touch of peach skin, and a herbal note. The finish is mildly dry with just a touch of bitterness. It's just ok overall, and certainly not up to what you expect from this brewer.

Thin white head left a spotty cover on translucent pale straw coloured body. Earth & onion aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & dry on the back. Citrus, pith, pine & caramel tastes. Boring
