Weak appearance and character, although this malty effort does have a hint of aftertaste.

Cask at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Hazy amber with a loose white head; fruity aroma; fruity taste - but also chalky and with a hint of iodine; then a woody bitterness to finish. Not sure about this one.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, light gold pour with a faint head. Doughy malts in the nose, light sweat, faint fruit. Medium sweet flavor, plenty of dough, some toffee or caramel, light bitterness of citrus. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet bread finish, fruity - maybe strawberry - merengue, more dough, not much bitterness. Drinkable.
