Bottle from Beer52. Clear copper (much less dark than I expected) with a swiftly-vanishing off-white head. Light but rather too prickly fizz - despite this the beer feels a little flat. Light banana, coriander & some brown sugar. Pleasant enough if a little muted; just feels like a slightly watered down version of the style.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] An interesting beer, not at all what I was expecting. An almost clear copper coloured pour with a white head that settled back quickly to a persistent rim; yeasty banana aroma; smooth in the mouth with caramel and banana and a bready body; then more sweet banana and clove to finish. Very pleasant.

Mini tasting session with myself, at home on 20th Nov 2020. 330ml bottle from Beer52; BB 15th Sep 2021. White crown on a hazy red/orange body. I found the usual banana and clove aroma/flavours within this pleasant Dunkelweizen, some other spices too, alongside a fairly sweet malty/grainy base. Liked it.

Foamy white head stayed on a highly carbonated pale chestnut coloured body. Malt, demerara & bread aroma. Medium bodied, tingly with a fuller smooth back. Malt, spices, bread, banana & clove tastes. Tasty.

Can from Beer 52. Unexpectedly has a strong aroma of chocolate and vanilla. Pours an almost murky reddish orange with no head whatsoever. Has an initial taste of bubblegum and banana, that is quickly swamped by corn and pear drops. Finish is malts and grains. Not bad – but a bit strange to say the least.

Bottle, danke Max! Lovely red amber color, light hazy, offwhite head. Good spicy aroma, allspice, clove on dry banana, light chocolate roast. medium light mellow body, light astringency, could use more foaminess. Dry caramel, a hint chalk, Raider/Twix, good ripe banana fiinish.

Bottle. Hazy orange-deep-amber color with white head. Aroma is mild bananas, cloves, overripe other fruits, esters, nice aroma. Taste is the same, a tiny bit chalky, a tiny bit underattenuated, I like the fruitiness here. Mineraly mouthfeel, foamy carbonation. Solid!

330ml bottle via Beer 52 monthly box. Pours hazed ruby brown with a beige cap. Aroma: sweet with that characteristic weizen esters - mostly banana with a little bubblegum & clove. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, fruity with more yeasty esters. Medium bodied with soft carbonation

330ml bottle from Beer52 pack. My first in this style. Pours hazy copper, small beige head, some circular retention. Aroma of banana, wheat and yeast. There doesn't seem to be much difference in aroma between all the styles of Weissbier. Taste is the same, a little fruity. A moderate to full body and a nice smooth texture but quite an abrasive carbonation which distracted from the body for me. Its ok, I enjoyed it more as I drank it
