For the Vintage Ale 2020, we've stayed true to our roots - sourcing all our ingredients here in the UK. The story starts with DRC®, a Double Roasted Crystal malt from East Anglia that promises malty sweetness rich in caramel and raisin. Then there's the Herefordshire hops - Jester® and Godiva- adding ripe berry fruit and tangy citrus notes to the signature marmalade flavours of our famous Fuller's yeast.

0.5l bottle shared with Ogivlado. Hazy brown body, off-white head, thick, small. Dried figs in the aroma, oxidation creamy dried figs and stone fruit esters, rosehip, herbal, very well hidden alcohol. More simple than it should be, but still fine.

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com'. Hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and a bit vinous aroma of molasses, raisins, prunes and some caramel. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and a little vinous taste of molasses, raisins, prunes, bourbon, caramel and light wood, followed by a long, gently bitter, quite boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Heavy and intense ale, unfortunately quite boozy, still glad it's finally imported again.

Bottle bought earlier this year at the brewery shop. Aroma has big dark fruit and berries. Jammy. Opaque dark amber. Thick foamy creamy beige head. Sweet dark fruit and berries in flava also. Chewy malts. Followed by a boozy bitter streak. Medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Big jammy stuff.

Bottled@Alko Web. Amber colour with a mediumsized off-wite head. Aroma is fruity, some wooden, toffeeish and mild toaste tones. Flavour is zesty, orange marmalade, some grassy, florall and mild alcohol tones along with some slight toasted and wooden elements as well. Smooth.
