Imperial BCN Weisse with Tripping Animals. On this collab we have gone with a higher fruiting rate than ever before. Almost 1000kg of Guava, Pink Grapefruit and Passion Fruit were loaded into the fermenter to give a hugely tropical sour. As it's citrus season here and our friends in Florida suggested that it is Guava and Passion Fruit season over there we thought why not have a blast of sunshine but at a warming 9% abv. A grist with as much flaked oats as our mash tun can manage gives this beer a really smooth, creamy body which enhances the almost smoothie like mouthfeel.

Can shared at MONYO. Pours hazy golden with a pinkish hue. Nose is tropical fruity, both the guava and passion fruit make an appearance, the first providing sweetness and the latter the sourness. There's some citric bitterness in there too from the grapefruit. The taste is basically the same, tart from the passion fruit and grapefruit with the latter providing some bitterness too and there's a hint of guava sweetness too. Closes with a long lasting fruity finish, has a ligh to medium body and a huge body. In fact it's borderline too big of a beer, almost too much. Well made all in all, but not really my cup of tea.

Clear orange beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, fruity, lactose, guava and passion fruits. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour start, lemony, lots of passion fruits, some ginger, oranges. Aftertaste: nice and refreshing, sourish, very fruity, bit sweet, guava, lovely stuff!

Can at Garage on-line tasting. Orange color with minimal white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peel, maybe sulfur, unbalanced. Taste, tropical fruits, guava, pomelo, maracuja, peel, fruity sourness, lactose, also bit unbalanced.

Orangée voilé, col blanc-cassé retombant rapidement.
Arôme est de suite sur des effluves de tropical - retrouve un côté goyave qui perce en retrait de l'apport de fruits de la passion qui reste dominant. Au nez, le tout est plaisant,effectivement très tropical, mais cela s'éloigne rapidement du style classique - l'acidité des fruits prenant le dessus.
Palais est finement citrique avec un côté goyave assez en avant - l'alcool est présent sans jamais apparaître surfait, de fait plutôt traître. Le fruit de la passion est plaisant - petite touche acidulée plus proche du pamplemousse rose en retrait.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy yellow, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of passionfruit, grapefruit juice, guava, pineapple, mandarin flesh, wheat, sour cream. Taste has sour passionfruit flesh & unripe mandarin, bittersweet grapefruit in the middle with a sour-creamy edge, touch of guava, quite a thick & tangible oatmeal body. Tart, fruity finish, grapefruity hops, passionfruit & wheat returning retronasally. Alcohol remains hidden. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. BW taken to the next level, super!

Pours unclear orange. Small to no white head. Scent is simple, lactic acidity, fruity, fairly dry impression. taste is full, very full. Tart, lactic acidity with some mild funk to it. Saltyness, somehow. Alcohol pops up, enhancing the tartness. Full fruityness, tropical. Medium thick body. Perhaps a tough too alcoholic for its own good, but certainly enjoyable
