(Draft at Biererei, Berlin, 19 July 2025) Cloudy yellow colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and juicy. Very nice.

Tap@Fermentoren, Brasserie Du Bas TTO - Tangerine and mango, some melon and peachy action, sweetish malty backing, solid hoppy finish. Tasty stuff.

(473ml can from masoif.com) Pours very hazy dark gold with a thick white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of navel orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, soft floral tropical undertones, peppery but not necessarily green (more phenolic), . Flavour is fairly dry, citrus-forward, pink grapefruit and meyer lemon, bit of sweet orange, pulpy with a little pith, undertones of underripe floral tropical fruit and a little melon, touch of blueberry astringency, dank leafy earthy mosaic, fairly retiring malts and quite clean yeast. Low to moderate bitterness in the finish, lots of citrus peels, lightly peppery but not very green, just a kiss of onions maybe. Quite dry through into the aftertaste, almost mineral. Light to medium body, above average carbonation. Slightly 'old school' NEIPA vibes if such a thing now exists, but very pleasant to drink.

Can from the brewery. Pours a cloudy golden colour like most HYPA so far. Big white cap, good retention and foamy lacing. The nose shows the citrus again with the peel and juices, mostly oranges. Feels like some sugars or Belgian Ale yeast balancing things. The taste shows this sweetness as well, over the mild citruses. The hoppy grassiness comes through at the last pour and lingers. Another nice IPA from this brewery, for those who like a nicely blended sweet note over the juiciness, hoppiness.

Tall can (thx, Mathieu P.!) at the end of IPA day (hehe). Packaged on 2018-07-09 ("HYPA" 5 on the bottom). Pours a cloudy dirty golden with a huge white head. Aroma is amazing - very juicy with lots of tropical fruits and some toothpaste freshness. Taste is along the same lines, but not that intensive. Good one.

A hazed blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy tropicale floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, loads of tropical fruits, very nice and refreshing. On tap at brewery.

Crowler: Poured a cloud/hazy bright yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank hoppy notes with some tangerine and citrus notes with light tropical notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of dank hoppy notes with huge tangerine and citrus notes with light tropical fruit notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation. Hugely enjoyable IPA thought carbonation could be somewhat more lively.
