During a prolonged maturation of almost four years the Lambic on Foeder 21 went through a madeirisation process. This Lambic is blended with Lambics of two other foeders of the same origin, all used for white wine in the past, creates a unique tasting experience.

Bottled (from Alko webshop). Golden colour with pretty much no head. Aroma is goose berries, yeast, some wood, and mild herbal notes. Flavour has pretty much the same elements as the aroma, but aso has some nice dry funk to it. Nicely dry palate.

Bottle 2019. Beautiful golden-orange color, with quite a big head, disappearing fast. Aroma is dry, sulphur, leather, bubblegum maybe. Taste is lemony, straw, wood, sulphur. Thin carbonation, dry finish, some nice bitterness too. Very good.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color Lambic with a large white foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some oak notes and funky ester. Taste is a mix of tart notes with light acidic notes with some tart notes and light funky ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Balance Gueuze with nice mix of complexity and drinkability.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of white pepper, oak, horseblanket, funk, green apple and grainy malt. Taste has dry funky white grape, oak, peppery herbs, green apple, horseblanket, tart funk and old hop. Strange these peppery tones, makes the beer even drier. Interesting though.

0.375 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', bottled in February 2019, cellared for over a year. Almost clear, amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and rather funky aroma of lemon balm, gooseberry, mint, white grapes, some horse blanket and a touch of wood. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, quite fruity, slightly funky and a bit vinous taste of gooseberry, white grapes, mint, lemon balm, some horse blanket and hints of wood, followed by a short, gently tart, moderately woody-dry, slightly vinous and a bit funky finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Rather untypical Gueuze, very refreshing and even slightly vinous with mint-like flavours. Really unique, never had something like this before, delicious.
