Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion at Leicester. Dark brown with a creamy white head. Bitter burnt malt aroma combines with a bitter burnt coffee aroma witha touch of piney hop. Sweet initial taste, with chocolate and sarsaparilla notes, leading to an earthy hoppy bitterness. Long finish with a touch of astringency. Perfect amount of carbonation, i.e. somewhat heavy without being aggressive. Wonderful.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Very dark, chestnut brown. Dense, lasting, lacing, leggy, mocha foam. Looks awesome. Nose has caramel. Roast malt. Earthy coffee bean. Some charred citrus. Taste is charred citrus bitterness, with milky coffee sweetness. Medium body. Smooth and silky. Some dryness. Low carbonation. Long, rich, roast coffee bean bitterness to finish. Ridiculously good.

Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, mellow dark chocolate, touch of dark chocolate Malteasers. Nice fruity spicy vibe on the back end fits in very well with the dark malts. Fruity linger. Very nice, a dark 7.5% beer which I'm struggling not to guzzle.

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan tight head. Hoppy big intense porter. Some lime some light tropical fruit edge. Good dark chocolate porter with some espresso coffee and some dark dark chocolate. So easy to drink. Velvet like. Light hopping on the finish. I rather liked it. HIdes ABV well. Pretty damn good beer.
