750mL bottle pour at Hill Farmstead, 8/30/24. Slight haze. Muted brass. Spotty, white head. Seems in very good shape. Wow! It's like all Hill...has the white wine, super mellow lactic and strong mineral of a Hill saison. Very aromatic, with unripe stone fruit and very little barrel, yet obviously that gas helped keep it bright and vibrant over the years. Gentle funk, bright acid and a bit of both oak and very lightly oxidized malt. Great depth with plentiful biscuit, almost a touch of nuttiness and lingering fruitiness. Still vibrant and balanced. Love the mellow but bright acidity.

It pours clear clear pale yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is musty, funky, gooseberry, white, sherbet, lemon - lime, floral, elderflower, barnyard and oak. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, sherbet, lemon - lime, white grape, gooseberry, bright acidity, German white wine, elderflower, cracker, grain, some acidity and some alcohol nip with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fun stuff.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Ariel. Cloudy yellow. Funky, barnyard, fruitiness, oak, cobwebs, sour, a bit citric. Great and refreshing.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has nice, moderately strong fruity note of apricots, lemons, green grapes and hints for tropical fruit. Light grain and alcohol notes. Light oak notes. A bit of a light, earthy, herbal phenolic note. Pours a slightly cloudy, pale, golden-orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Flavor is slightly sweet with a light acidity and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Solid fruity esters with lemon, apricot, other various stone fruit, green grapes and hints of tropical fruit. Light oak notes and hints of herbal, earthy phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid sour ale with great fruit notes and balanced acidity and phenolic notes. Oak notes are light and complimentary
