Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit, mango, pineapple. Similar action in the flavour. Good bitter twist in the finish. Tasty.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry and finely crisp. Light malts, mildly sweet. Hops bring very mild skunk and mildly spicy citrus. A light touch of Nelson grape, very light. Modest spicy bitterness on the semi dry finish. Absolutely nothing to offend here but it falls slightly flat. I definitely expected more.

Can shared in Columbus - cheers to Fergus. Pours cloudy gold with a frothy, white head. Chewy citrus in the nose, apricot, melon. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice fleshy citrus character, mellow rindy bitterness, more apricot, tangerine, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some clean pale malts, mild bitterness, more pithy citrus fruits. Solid.

Can at L6. Thanks to Fergoos. It pours crazy cloudy creamy gold with a medium thick white head. The aroma is creamy, sherbet, melon, white grape, doughy white bread, damp leaves. The taste is dry, bitter, clean, pithy, zesty, white grape, chewy, grassy, green and some peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent hoppy lagerbier.

440ml can. Hazy golden orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma has orange, grape, and a little of that weird burning rubber note. Taste is better, more fruity, orange, grape, lemon, malts, mild bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Perfectly drinkable but not one of Verdant's best. Drinks more like an IPL than an IPA, an observation rather than a complaint.

Can at home, 17/03/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is toasted grains, orange sherbets, bread dough, melon, lemon tinged straw, light floral whisper, tangerine, faint pine. Taste comprises bready malts, mellow citric peel, toasted grains, melon, grass, orange wine gums. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with mellow hop bitterness. A passable IPA for sure but rather lacklusture by Verdants usual standards ... comes across more like an IPL tbh.

Can. Beer Ritz online. Pale gold. Fully hazy. Thick, frothy, lasting, white head. Nose has dirty rubber bands. Some burnt plastic. Not a lot else. Maybe some hint of the pilsner malts. Any hops are lost here. Taste is a little sweet, with a jarring, earthy, mucky bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. Sits heavy on the palate. Burnt bitterness to finish. Pretty bad.
