Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of leather, roast, licorice, overripe dark fruits and dark chocolate. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can, thanks to Dan, split at the Grand Reunion Tasting, Watford 02/10/20. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is peated malts, chocolate, dried fruits, toffee, roasted tones. Taste comprises cocoa powder, smoked tea, dried fruits, charr, ashen tones, smoked malts. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising blast of alcohol. Decent.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Dan. Pours brown with a frothy beige head. Medium sweet flavour with massive smoked malt character, a little pear, burnt meat, bitter dark chocolate, scorched earth. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, dry and ashy. Solid.

Can shared at the 2nd Watford tasting. Thanks to Daniel osprey. A oily, dark brown coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice smoked malts, brown sugars, peaty smoked whisky, perfume, tea. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, jammy fruits, brown sugars, tea, light smoked roast, peat, tea, floral notes. Nice. Palate is semi sweet oily, lowish carbonation.

ABV: 13.0%. Dark dark black brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, plum - smoked plum, sweet malt, rich, malty, smoked tea - smoked meat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, plum - smoked plum, smoked meat, tea bitter, rich. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200706]

330ml can. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of smoked meats, roast malts. Taste is smokey, meaty, roast malts, dark chocolate, brown sugar, sweet and a little bitterness. Medium-full bodied, smooth.

Pitch black pour with a fine-grained dark tan head. Notes of smoke, ash, roasted malts, dark chocolate, sweet licorice and dark roasted coffee.
