Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en tamelijk zoet met iets van citrus, koriander en banaan, of is dat de jeneverbes?

Bottle at Partizan. It pours deep golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is dry, spiced, herbal, dry grain, toasty, cereal and ginger. The taste is dry, bitter, peppery spice, tonic water, peppery stuff, herbal, grass, grainy, tannin, cocoa and straw with drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Filthy. A bit spicy.

Partizan Bottleshare. Mild haze on this paleish amber beer, no real head. Palate is light and mildly dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet malts, a skewed nuttty sweetness. Mild floral. Some mellow gin botanicals. Smooth dry finish. Odd but interesting.

Bottle shared in Bermondsey - big thanks to Dave. Pours clear orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. Maybe some vegetal notes in the nose, yeast, pale bread, cucumber. Medium sweet flavour with sugar wheat bread, ripe lemon, white grape, melon. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more wheat bread, low bitterness, some white grape gummies. Fun. Novel.

Bottle at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Thanks to Andrew for sharing. Clear amber colour thin white head. Quinine and almost a vegetal aroma. Then its a toffee barley wine in the mouth which is pleasant but more vegetal flavour on the finish. Both breweries can do better. Nutty flavour.

Bottled 12-12-17. Very sweet for a saison. Subtly spiced, tiny bit of G&T when looking for it, but not really enough. Not bad, bit boring.

Tap at Kaapse. Near clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, cardboard juice, boiled vegetables, alcohol. The best way to describe this to fellow RateBeerians is: Imperial Countrytick.
